About Singapore Government ICT&SS Policy Reform
To support Singapore’s ambition to build a Smart Nation, the Government has accelerated its digital transformation efforts. This includes improving how services are delivered, operations are managed and policies are defined to protect agencies' infocomm technology and smart system (ICT&SS) assets.
The ICT&SS Policy Reform is an effort to transform the policy controls to be lean, relevant and effective. It enables differentiated treatment for systems of different risk impact levels . Agencies will assess the risks and identify the right level of controls for their systems based on various business and technical considerations.
This publication is to provide the same control requirements to government agencies and industry partners so that both parties can work together to apply the right level of controls for their systems.
The reform effort has started for low-risk systems first. The first tranche of the recommended controls for low-risk systems is published here and will be progressively updated in this website.
We invite industry players to join us in the ICT&SS Policy Reform journey. For any feedback, please provide here: https://go.gov.sg/ictpolicy
